There have been just a handful of worship songs over the years that I have really connected with. Each person connects with different songs in different seasons of life, and "One Thing Remains" by Bethel Music has been a powerful song in my life. When the song was released a few years ago there were some "mountains" that I was facing, and God spoke directly to those trials through this song.
Now, whenever this song is sung, the same emotions I experienced when I first worshiped to the song are stirred up within me all over again.
More importantly, those emotions remind me of God's faithfulness and unfailing love.
It is a beautiful thing to be able to look back and see how God has moved in your life, behind the scenes, even though it seemed like you were on your own. One thing God continues to show me is just how faithful He is, and that his love for me will never ever EVER fail.
The trials seem unbearable sometimes, the mountains seem impossible, but our God is all about bringing us through the unbearable, and "we know that all things are possible with God".
